A war and peace lecture he gave me Manuel, 2 weeks later .... fickle and dumb a very dangerous combination.

We’ve been fuckin pony all season Pedro, one good game and that’s been it !
Fortunately we racked up a few undeserved points and you’d have thought according to the majority on here we were a top 6 side!
I really do wonder what some people actually see ? or is their football knowledge so limited that all they could see was the points total, no matter who undeserved ?

My concern is Pellegrini seems to think we play amazing attacking football.

If we lose by odd goal or make a mistake he seems to say well we are trying to play football.

Does he think by saying it we will believe him.
I am prob in the minority but think our approach play is slow and dull.

Same old West Ham......

Good players but not a good team

No one running beyond their back 4

Anderson still playing left back

Fornals no impact again

Poor subs

Shit going forward

If we fail to beat Newcastle then Pellegrini is at the risk the 3 games after that

"Chelsea’s good run started after their 8-1 cup win over Grimsby meanwhile we got our arse kicked at Oxford."

I am glad you said that. I got coated on here by a few for saying that the cup defeat could de-rail our season. Got told i was a knicker wetter. Well, we haven't fucking won since. So there you go.

That cup defeat was like an injection of poison. And all these managers that drop so many players need to realise it's not just about that game. It's about keeping up the momentum. A winning team is a winning team. And once you are off and running you should keep that team going.

Bang on all of that, mate.

Towards the end all Anderson had to do was put the after-burners on and cut inside and then roll the ball into the path of Haller who i am sure would've scored.

Yet, he dallied out wide too long, that gave their full back a chance to gain some ground back and then when he did cut inside he wasn't fast enough and the ball he rolled in was literally about 3mph. Pathetic.

And, yes, any defence that's well drilled and organised (which is most PL teams) we struggle with. We look toothless and lack ideas.

It's all very frustrating.

And as for all those pundits talking up Sheff Utd. We can now all clearly see them for they are. Basically a Championship side with an arrogant northern monkey as a manager. They play fucking shite football and they are just a gobshite backward mob.

got caught up in some sort of weird northern police corden on the way out to the station. They blocked us taking our normal short cut (twats wearing baseball caps), had to go round westfield we then got stuck with a load of Sheffield utd fans. I am normally respectful of all types but fuck me what a load on mongs.
Why do they travel to watch that shit?

I’d like Anderson to finish from 5 yds when he was one on one.
He had a great game at Southampton where he was the match winner with 2 great goals last Christmas. He hasn’t scored since I believe

I think one major difference is that we weren't "promised" anything back then. There was no Chairman bellowing out about next level after a ground change or the like. In fact the Chairman didn't say anything back then! John Lyall did what he could on the budget he had. Made some good buys, and some bad, some great performances and some bad but as you say we had players who cared. I can't remember the likes of Dev and Brooking having a bad game but I'm sure they did but you tended to let it go and I'm sure it was the same at most Clubs.

That's why I like Noble and Cresswell even though they have bad games, I can forgive them a tad because you know they will be here next year and seem to care whereas I'm not so sure about the likes of Anderson and Haller as they are probably using it as a stepping stone. That's why we loved Di Canio because he lo9ved the Club. Ok he didn't play further north than of Watford but did it at Upton Park!!

Anderson thinks he has to showboat, when what we want is for him to use his pace and go for the jugular.
